Home Made Chicken Pizza

IMG_20140408_134945I made this spicy chicken pizza under 45 minutes including prep and cooking. Taste delicious with a succulent munchy crunchy effect. Its easy to make check out how I did it below.

Stuffs I used :

375g (13 oz) plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon caster sugar
7g (1/4 oz) dried active baking yeast
2 tablespoons olive oil
225ml (8 fl oz) warm water (45 C)
Cheese (if you like)
Chicken chops (replace with mushrooms or veggies if vegetarian)

Toppings I Used : Chicken chops, pineapple, peppers and sweetcorn.

Directions:

Mix the  flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. add the oil and like warm water, stir gently till it forms a dough.

Lightly dust a plain surface with flour and tip the dough onto it, knead for about 5 mins until its smooth and stretchy.

Roll and stretch the dough to the desired shape, place on a greased (olive oil) baking pan and leave somewhere warm for about 15 mins till its risen slightly

Add toppings as per preference, here I used chopped peppers, sweetcorn, pineapple and chicken chops.

Bake in a preheated oven at 250 ‘C for 25 minutes.

CIAO!!

    • Its a tomato base sauce . you can either get a ready made one of the shelf in stores make from this ingredients : olive oil
4 cloves garlic, peeled and finely sliced
1 bunch fresh basil, leaves picked and torn
      3 x 400 g good-quality tinned plum tomatoes
      sea salt
      freshly ground black pepper

  1. usually my pizza dough is always half done i don’t understand why and it has this sickening yeast smell… i hate it.. do u think its possible to slightly bake the dough before adding the toppings?
